Okay, you all knew that someday this entry would pop up. This is a discussion about wolf lifemates. Does any of you have a mate yet? When werewolves choose their mates, I find it rather romantic. Unlike real wolves, mates that are found by werewolves are more... lasting. What I mean is, usually the Alpha in a regular wolf pack would pick a female to mate with during the right season. But with werewolves, the relationship is much more binding. Does anybody have any comments on that?

Actually I have a lot to say about this.
First I would like to add while werewolves dont BASE it off of the season it does still play a part which makes it all the more worst if a werewolf is in their teenage years because love will get blurred with lust.
Now that being said werewolves are just like you said, a little more on the romantic side. (Hate to admit it but I'm am too) So its all the connection and closness of a wolf pair without with extra human emotion (so you can imagine its a big thing)
The problem is when werewolves stop completely trusting their wolf instincts. A wolf will know when they've found the one they want to be with but a werewolf isnt solely wolves are they? Nope they is that human part to deal with. And humans think more with logic then emotion so even if a werewolf finds his "soul mate" he still might deny it.
Now lets say a wolf finds his mate (human) theres a HUGE problem with the fact of the human cheating because lets face it, humans are best known for cheating. That does happen. Like I said even if they would be perfect mates humans think with their head, not their heart.
There is also a problem with WEREWOLVES cheating. Wolves dont cheat but werewolves arent soully werewolves are they? Now there is still that nasty human side that makes everything harder.
So while things CAN be stronger when it comes to love werewolves have it just as hard as human. But just like humans some of us have happy endings where we end up with just the girl or guy that we were meant for.
OH and just thought I would through this in as well while we are on the subject. There are gay and lesbian werewolves. I know its odd and it doesnt happen often but it does happen (I've met one gay werewolf in my life but he says there is more out there) I have yet to figure out though if the wolf part would be against it because I've never heard of a gay or lesbian wolf but there are animals in the animal kingdom that do that so I guess it could happen.

Werewolf mating is an EXTREMELY pleasureable exprience. One of those things in life that you would think cant be as great as everyone says but once you do it your are in shock. You cant understand it until you do it.
Just don't tell Fell that.....
unbelievable as it is there is a way for a werewolf to fall for a vampire.
Not sure how but ignoring human logic and the fact its just not heard of I know I love my best friend who is a vampire.
I mean she is just so perfect for me. I swear I cannot live without her anymore.
